I have a bachelor's degree and a doctorate degree; and I am a writer. In the past I have practiced law and taught English in secondary school. O' Allah, I ask of You knowledge out of Your knowledge; and I beg of You power out of Your power; and I beseech You of Your great grace because You have the power and I have not the power; and, You know and I know not. O' Allah, if this affair be good for me, with respect to my faith and the means of my sustenance, and in the end, then grant it unto me and make it easy for me and bless me in it. But, O' Allah, if this affair be evil for me with respect to my faith and the means of my sustenance and in the end, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it; and make good available to me where ever it might be and bless me in it. O' Allah grant me the patience to wait on what I desire for You are the Best Knower of when to grant Your favors to Your servants.
