UK Muslimah in a US World

I am a revert of 6 months. I am a writer /actress/filmmaker. I love children and aside from developing in my field I am looking to be guided in Islam and be a Muslimah who pleases her husband secondary only to Allah. This sounds heavy even to me but if you don't ask you won't receive. Someone who is strong, leading but not controlling. Even if you have insecurities I only ask that you acknowledge them and are willing to become stronger with the help of my love. I am raised in Western and Caribbean culture so I am not strict with my Deen but still want to meet all that Allah wishes for me so a man who can understand this and isn't too rigid with himself and life.
