I am from NYC and now live in Durham NC. I reverted to Islam in 1993. I follow the Qur'an and sunnah and it's understanding as it has been relayed to us with sound isnad. I study Islam daily. I have some college, I am working towards a BA in Egyptology with Manchester University UK. I have made two trips to Egypt and plan to make more and to west Africa inshallah. I find myself in a constance state of correction because the more I learn the more I have to change. I think about Allah all throughout the day. I am very religious yet balanced. I enjoy time with my family, I am very family oriented, family means a great deal to me. I enjoy nature very much, trips to the mountains, lakes and ocean, walks in the park, I like boxing and working out in the gym. I love the Islamic life style and being in an Islamic environment.
