As Salamu Aaiykum, Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Writing this has made me delve deeper as I do want to portray myself as true as possible. We all have our flaws and there are certain things that I am really trying to work on to try and maintain being a genuine/thoughtful person. Like anyone we are aware of our actions but I guess our ignorance and ego lets the negative actions surface from time to time, whether by means of speech or physical actions toward others. Maybe it sounds 'too much' but for me soul cleansing is really important and Im hoping to liberate mine. It is something between me and Allah and I hope that my efforts are accepted. Saying that, I do not preach or look down on anyone as arrogance is something I wish was dispelled. I guess that is why I find solace in writing, it helps me express the spiritual side of me and I do look to the writings of Rumi to inspire me. There are parts of me that I really want to keep wholesome and true to my character; honesty, respect (to anyone regardless of who they are and how old) humbleness, confidence (In faith/religion) and trust. Sometimes these traits do falter but they are ingrained in me and just need dusting off from time to time. Aside from the importance of the above, my family mean a lot to me and Allhamdulillah I come from a very loving family and I am grateful to Allah for that and Insha-Allah wish I can follow my parents example someday.
