Seeking the man who will bow with me on a daily to Allah

I’m Lina, a woman who has recently embraced Islam with all her heart. My faith is the foundation of my life, and I strive every day to live by the Qur’an and Sunnah with sincerity, patience, and gratitude. I pray five times daily, love reading Qur’an, listening to nasheeds, and reflecting on Allah’s mercy. I believe in living with kindness, humility, and compassion — values that shape who I am as a daughter, mother, and sister, and that I long to bring into a marriage. Allah ﷻ reminds us: “And We created you in pairs, that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy” (Surah Ar-Rum 30:21). For me, marriage is not just companionship, but a sacred covenant rooted in love, mercy, and taqwa. I seek a husband who fears Allah, is steadfast in his obligations, and values honesty, loyalty, and family. A man who communicates with patience, nurtures with gentleness, and leads with wisdom — while also seeing his wife as his partner, best friend, and supporter in both deen and dunya. I long for a home where Allah’s name is remembered, where Qur’an is recited, where kindness and laughter are shared, and where children are raised upon Islam with love. I believe in simplicity, mutual respect, and supporting one another to be the best versions of ourselves for the sake of Allah. As the Qur’an beautifully says: “They are a garment for you, and you are a garment for them” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:187). I pray to find the one who will love me for Allah’s sake.

What is the purpose of marriage?
For me, marriage is more than companionship — it is a sacred covenant blessed by Allah ﷻ. Its true purpose is to create a bond of tranquility, mercy, and love where two people walk together on the path of deen and dunya. As Allah says: “And among His signs is this: that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy” (Qur’an 30:21). Marriage is about being a source of protection, comfort, and strength for one another — garments to each other, covering faults and nurturing virtues. It is a partnership where husband and wife work as a team, fulfilling their obligations to Allah, supporting each other through life’s trials, and celebrating life’s joys together. It is also the foundation for building a righteous family — raising children upon Islam, in love and guidance, and leaving behind a legacy of goodness. Ultimately, the purpose of marriage is not just happiness in this world, but striving together for the pleasure of Allah and eternal success in the Hereafter.
