Somewhere nestled between the sweet magnolias of Columbia and the coastal waters of Charleston, I call South Carolina home. Masha Allah, my mom reverted to Al-Islam in 1980 and I'm fortunate to have been a part of this mighty journey! I was raised to treat others well, with respect, to say what's good, or keep quiet, and never settle for mediocre, but above all, keep Allah first. These are the bricks to my foundation in life; these have served as a compass and hallmark of everything which defines who Amal is, yet remain the drive that motivates and inspires me to never give up, or quit, to forgive and let go, simultaneously looking for any goodness in bad situations as morals of teachable life moments. My professional background includes nearly twenty years as an Educator and Administrator in both Exceptional Student Education and General Education which simply means that I have provided instruction to students with cognitive and physical challenges as well as those without. I love helping people, receive gratitude for it and am passionate about seeing others thrive. I consider the rewards underneath opportunities in impacting the lives of others as insurmountable. Eventually, I'm hoping to meet my best friend, life partner and love of my life, so that we can forge opportunities which will impact the lives of not just our families, but our communities as well. Seeking a spouse whose life is in compliance with Al-Qur’an and Sunnah. A practicing and believing man.
