As salaamu alaikum. Here's a bit about me and who I'm looking for...I love good food, laughter, good food, a good movie and good company and did I mention that I'm a bit of a foodie? I'm a mother of 2 adult children and being a grandmother brings me joy! I try to maintain a positive attitude and surround myself with others who do the same. I'm no scholar in Islam, but I'm striving be a better Muslim. I have a bit of an entrepreneurial spirit and I'm an independent woman but I'm a woman in every sense of the word. I've been waiting for the man who loves Allah and knows how to have balance. He wants to share Islam with me as we strive in this deen and in this life together. He can embrace my independent spirit, but understands his duty as husband as well as how to connect with my womanhood. He understands that communication is key.
