Do some Art and Crafts
Potato print cards are fun to make. You will need some potatoes, card or paper, some paint or ink, and a knife. Cut your potato in half and carve a pattern on the flat side using a knife. You can do something relating to Eid, such as a crescent moon. The potato can then be used as a stamp. Simply dip it in some paint or ink and stamp your card with it. This is a great way to keep the kids occupied, and it is fun too.
Do some Eid cooking
Prepares some special dishes for Eid with your family. You mother and grandmother are sure to have some tasty recipes. Why not try a delicious Eid pudding, such as kheer, which is a rice pudding? Shahi Tukra is a good one too, it's a rich bread pudding, simple and quick to make.
