Describe your perfect weekend.
Heading out on Friday night to go camping (in and RV of course), Have my love one with me to enjoy the drive to the mountains. Getting up on Saturday for some out door cooking breakfast, the going for a nature walk. Saturday night having a relaxing dinner under the stars then going for a late night walk on shoreline of the lake. Sunday getting up to a fresh clean smile of a early rain. Going to the Hot Springs to enjoy the cool morning air. Having Lunch when we get back the campsite. Driving home early so we can stop at a nice restaurant for a candle light dinner, Stop to see a movie. and heading home.
How many kids would you like to have?
None I have three sons, and 17 grand children. If the future husband has children no problem I would love them very much.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
I have always said it is not what person looks like, one beauty in the soul and shines through.
What is the purpose of marriage?
The purpose of marriage is to spiritually, emotionally and physically unite a man and a women together, as husband and wife, in a covenantal relationship between themselves and their Creator. To ensure preservation of the human species and continuation of the human race "O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord, Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them has spread abroad a multitude of men and women" (Quran: 4:1). To provide spiritual and legal foundation of the family "And of His signs is this: He created for you mates from yourself that you might find rest in them, and He ordained between you love and mercy. Lo, therein indeed are portents for folk who reflect". (Quran 30:21)
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
The most important lesson I have learned in my life so far is one much love, cherish, and enjoy life to become a better person and don't live in the past because it keep you in the depths of nowhere.
What do your friends like about you most?
They think I respectable, loving, caring, enjoying to be around, most of all very easy to get along with.
What gets on your nerves?
Someone who is negative, won't change their bad habits when they know it is Harm, and does not respect me.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
There are three things I feel that are important in a relationship: 1) making your relationship the most important thing in your life. That goes for both of you. If only one of you feels this way, it’s like trying to run a marathon on one leg. Both of you will be exhausted and it will go nowhere. You will also be violating rule number two. 2) to make honesty the only policy on all matters. That means no more mind games, no more walls. Every lie that you tell to your mate is another brick in that wall and they are very hard (and painful) to take to take down once they are put up. It’s much easier to just say what you feel and speak the brutal (or beautiful) truth on everything. 3) to become as vulnerable to your partner as you are to yourself. There is nothing that will drive intimacy home more effectively that to become completely open to your mate. There is nothing that will stop an argument faster that to expose your fears about the very thing you are arguing about. That is, to become completely vulnerable when in the middle of a disagreement. Try it and you will see what I mean. A word of warning here; if someone goes for your jugular when you do this (or if you do this), then it’s time to reevaluate the relationship. Anyone who would do this, does not have your (and the relationships) best interests in mind.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
I see myself running my own business in order to have Financially Freedom in order to help my fellow Muslims that are in need and working on a Shelter for battered Muslimahs.
