Describe your perfect weekend.
I tend to prefer Saturdays as a private outing day with my wife at community events or eating out, trying a different spot, taking in a movie, museum visit, etc.
How many kids would you like to have?
That aspect of my life is done, except perhaps the adoption of a child, with my mates approval, to be educated and raised as a scholar of the Quran, Seerah or Fiqh of the Deen of Islam.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Very important. I have a leaning towards African ethnic clothing. I am very thoughtful of my appearance and strongly appreciate it in my mate.
What is the purpose of marriage?
To fulfill the requirements of the Deen in obedience to Allah and His Messenger (saws); and in doing so, we fulfill the longing and need in our souls for comfort, love, romance, companionship, family, friendship with our Soul Mates, . Insha Allah!
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
Patience, trusting Allah, always making choices and decisions according to the Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws).
What do your friends like about you most?
By their own words, Masha Allah, that I am honest, kind, considerate, studious of the Deen, and a good teacher of the religion.
What gets on your nerves?
Injustice, dishonesty, ignorance and self oppression
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
That we be soulmates sincerely worshipping Allah together.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Insha Allah, traveling with and working with my soulmate in our shared interests as if we are one soul.
