60 is the new 40

I am an active, positive person who does her best to put Islam into practice, not only through prayer, fasting, and reflection, but also in my worldly activities and human interactions, inshallah. I have my share of weaknesses and baggage as we all do, but I know there is someone out there who would see me as a perfect match. My children are grown, I enjoy a peaceful life with no conflict or animosity, alhamdulillah - minor annoyances aside, of course. I love Allah and his prophets, my family, friends, community, travel, study, solitude, a good movie, and the infinite beauties of the natural world, So what is missing? Really...nothing. But it would be nice to share life with the right person. What would he be like? Allah knows best, and I am sure I could be surprised. But he must be sincere in his religion, but open and tolerant of others. I cannot stomach racists, and my own family is multi-racial and of varying religious affiliations - he would have to be able to deal with that. He must be kind and gentle - I do not cope well with hostility, cruelty or oppression. Other than that, I cannot say...he is the man who adores me, trusts me, forgives me, and prays with me. I will do the same.
